Barry Manilow, Matthew Perry & Barbara Eden Portraits
The past couple of weeks have been filled with some fun projects for me! Both client commissions and personal fan fave creations!
Between clients, I’m usually burning on some personal pyrography art piece or another to put up for sale on my website. *Speaking of that, I launched a new storefront to make ordering easier for my wood-burning customers. You can visit that shop anytime to see what new pieces I’ve completed and placed on offer for sale and order your own commissioned pieces.
The first project I want to share with you is one that’s near and dear to my heart:
BARRY MANILOW - Back when I was in high school, and long before I ever picked up a wood-burning tool, I spent a lot of time drawing freehand. I was a HUGE Barry Manilow fan, so one of my favorite portraits I created for art class was of his face from this album cover.

I kept it for years...but somewhere along the way, it's been misplaced. I'd feeling a yearning to burn a portrait of him. So I am! He’s not finished yet, but he’s getting close. Here are some progress photos:

If you’d like to see a hyper-lapse video of my process, you can watch it on my YouTube channel HERE.
This piece will be available for purchase on my online store as soon as he’s done.
BARBARA EDEN AS JEANNIE - I received a client commission to create a portrait of Barbara Eden dressed in her role as Jeannie from the iconic television series I Dream of Jeannie. This has been such a FUN project for me! And one I honestly never would have thought to create myself!

She’s finished now, with the exception of adding my signature and a light spray coat of clear lacquer to seal in both the little bit of spot color on her mouth and eyes and to ensure the burned shading lasts for years to come. You can commission your own custom portrait at my online store. I only have maybe TEN more openings in my calendar to be ready for Christmas delivery, so if you want that extra special gift, be sure to order right away!
Last but certainly not least, in my current pyrography lineup is the tribute portrait I decided to create of Matthew Perry. I know many are deeply saddened by his recent death. So, I wanted to create a special memorial portrait of him. Again, this is a project I’m working on between client commissions, so it is a work in progress. And just like Barry Manilow, when this piece is finished, it will be available for purchase in my online shop. Here are a couple of progress photos so far -

In Other News
My narrator and her producer have been hard at work on the audiobook of The Risky Reunion: Book Four in my Jack and the Magic Hat Maker fantasy series. I still need to have the cover designed to reflect the audiobook version, but we are almost halfway done with the project, which is SO AWESOME! You’ll be able to purchase it, along with the print versions, on the book’s Amazon page.

And in closing, I’m SUPER EXCITED to announce that the audiobook edition of The Magical Legacy: Book Three in the series is NOW AVAILABLE! Woo hoo! Each of my audiobooks has a FREE AUDIO SAMPLE on its sales page so that you can get a feel for what the production sounds and feels like before you decide to buy. I hope you’ll go have a listen, and if you purchase the book in any format, it would mean the world to me if you’d take a moment to leave a quick review to help increase awareness of my books!

Tonight, we’re heading out for some excellent Texas Pit Bar-B-Q with my daughter and son-in-law! It promises to be an awesome evening!
I hope your weekend is off to a great start!
Until next time…thanks for your interest and support of my art and projects!
Blessings,
Tracy
