Big news, a little momentum, and a lot of hot tea

Hey Framily,

First, I owe you an apology for being so quiet this week. A stubborn head and chest cold has had absolutely no respect for my publishing schedule — and frankly, when even reading feels like too much effort, you gotta know it’s bad. For an indie author and consultant, that’s basically a five-alarm emergency.

But here’s the thing about being forced to slow down — sometimes it gives you exactly the perspective you need. And this week, while I was propped up with tea and piles of pillows, my KDP dashboard gave me just the nudge I needed to get moving.

The Jack Mac Paidin series is picking up steam.

The 3-Book Box Set has been generating steady Kindle Unlimited page reads all week — building organically, day after day, with zero promotion on my part. There is something incredibly motivating about watching your series find its readers on its own. It reminded me that this world I’ve built matters — and that it was well past time to get the rest of the series properly in order.

So, cold and all, I got to work.

Yesterday, I published two newly rebranded editions of the Jack Mac Paidin series:

Book 3: Jack Mac Paidin and The Magical Legacy — the origin story of Jack’s parents, Ross and Faith, and the dark forces targeting their family long before he was ever born.

Book 4: Jack Mac Paidin and The Risky Reunion — where Jack crosses into a demon realm to rescue his brother Ethan from the clutches of their vampire demon ancestor, Queen Valdis. (This one gets a little dark, friends. In the best possible way.)

Both books have stunning new covers, updated titles following the naming convention of the series, and are now enrolled in Kindle Unlimited — which means if you’re a KU subscriber, you can borrow them right now for free.

The full Jack Mac Paidin series through Book 4 is now available in Kindle Unlimited. → https://amzn.to/3Os2dGP

And Book 5?

Jack Mac Paidin and The Missing Sister is in progress and coming soon. Sadie Mac Paidin has been missing from this series since the final chapter of book two — and trust me, she is worth the wait. You can read the first five chapters free right now on my website. → https://tracypartridgejohnson.com/

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to make myself another large mug of something steaming and herbal, prop myself back up with a pile of pillows, and get back to writing Sadie’s story.

Thank you, as always, for being here. It means more than you know.

With love and a box of tissues,

Tracy 📚❤️
