TODAY’S MESSAGE: Chances are you’re feeling feisty today. You may get involved in a heated debate or have a craving for some fun competition. The warning is not to get too attached to winning—keep it light and have fun. New ideas and strengthened friendships are possible.

When the Five of Wands appears, expect a conflict of some sort. At its best, this card represents healthy competition; at its worst, aggression and hostility. In either case, this situation requires a very proactive approach. Matters are too unstable and will not resolve satisfactorily on their own.

It could possibly be negative, such as petty hassles, arguments, and clashing of personalities. But it could also represent friendly competition, such as in games or contests.

Disagreements are nearly inevitable in teamwork and relationships. However, these differences should be treasured. They are where new ideas and interesting compromises emerge.

Be wary of stubbornly holding onto an idea for the sake of it. Tremendous power can be had when we join our energy with that of others instead of fighting them. Remember what team you’re on.
