Happy Weekend, Framily!

Book Sale/Wine, Coffee & Goodies/The Barry Manilow Debate

TGIF Y’all!

As I type this, I’m nibbling dark chocolate-covered espresso beans and taking my first sip of a nice Pinot Noir. It’s the freakin weekend, folks! And at 4:09 pm on October 27th, it’s a balmy 81 degrees in Tyler, Texas. I’m a happy camper.

Yesterday, my sister in Utah posted on Facebook that it’s cold outside there. And that post made me all the more happy to be in Texas!

So, what do I have to say to you this week other than a weather report?

  • Book Sale! - This weekend only, I’m running a sale on the first four books in my Jack and the Magic Hat Maker series. Details Below.
  • Wine, Coffee, and Goodies - I’m sharing some of my favorite beverages and goodies…including Biscotti from a new affiliate partner.
  • The Barry Manilow Debate - If you follow me on Facebook, you may be aware of this next woodburning project debate my friends have been voting on. See more below.

BOOK SALE

Many of you on this mailing list are here because you downloaded a sample from The Dark Matriarch - Book One in a spin-off series from my Jack and the Magic Hat Maker series called Jack and the Immortals. If you didn’t get a chance to download that sample you can still do so HERE.

But before you read Series Two (I’m still working on that), you’ll want to read all of the books in the original series. And This weekend, I’m making that so very affordable for you to do!

The eBooks, which currently sell for $5.99 on Amazon and other online booksellers, can be purchased for just $1.99 (for immediate download!) only when you purchase directly from me. Here’s that unique link for you:

WINE, COFFEE, AND GOODIES

Are you a big coffee, wine, and goodies person? I sure am! So, with this installment of my newsletter, I’m starting a new tradition of sharing some of my favorites with you!

Biscotti - Delight your taste buds with these classic Almond Biscotti made with roasted whole almonds, amaretto, and tones of apricot. They’re packed with flavor and under 5 grams of sugar per biscotti cookie, and at only 140 calories per serving, you can enjoy them any time of day or night without feeling guilty. Plus, Almond Biscotti make great gifts! (Approximately 12 Biscotti Cookies per/ 7.15 oz Bag) ORDER HERE, and be sure to tell Bruno, the owner, that Tracy sent you!

Wine - My wine of the week this week is one of our favorite, reasonably-priced table wines - Robert Mondavi Private Selection Bourbon Barrels Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 - 750 ML - This is a wine we buy over and over again. Because it’s reliably delicious, if you like a dry, spicy wine with a subtle fruity bite…you’ll love this wine! It pairs well with…you know…pretty much everything!

Wine Maker’s Notes - Layered and complex, this Bourbon Barrel-aged Cabernet Sauvignon leaps from the glass with aromas of blackberry cobbler, graham cracker, brown sugar, milk chocolate, coffee and smoke. A palate of blueberry pie, praline, sweet vanilla custard, caramel, and mocha is framed by soft, chewy tannins and a hint of toasted oak on the lingering finish.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST…

THE GREAT BARRY MANILOW DEBATE

Back when I was in high school, and long before I ever picked up a wood-burning tool, I spent a lot of time drawing freehand. I was a HUGE Barry Manilow fan, so one of my favorite portraits I created was of his face from this album cover.

I kept it for years...but somewhere along the way, it's been misplaced. But right now, I'm feeling the yearning to burn a portrait of him. Can't decide if I want to use image 1 or image 2 (the Best of album) as my subject matter. Which do you think I should burn? (I won’t tell you which one is DOMINATING the discussion on my Facebook page!) I’d LOVE to hear your vote, though! If you aren’t familiar with my pyrography work, feel free to visit my wood-burning website: www.pyroportraits.com

Ok, y’all, that’s it for me for now!

Have an AMAZING weekend! And I’ll see you next week!

Hugs and Blessings,
Tracy
